In cooperation with the Regional Youth Center the Georgia Red Cross Society launched a joint project, in the scope of which the President of the Georgian Red Cross Society Natia Loladze met with the volunteers.
The project aims to raise an awareness regarding COVID-19 among population and tourists in Adjara region in order to prevent the risk of virus spread.

In the frame of above mentioned project the volunteers will be trained regarding Covid-19. The volunteers, who will be equipped with the personal safety equipment during the tourist session, will be located in different gathering places, they will inform people about COVID-19 and share the experiences of WHO best practices. Also volinteers will provide psycho-social assistance and help population maintain social distance to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
