During the visit, she met with the Mayor of the Sagarejo Municipality and staff members and volunteers of the GRCS local branch.
The President was updated about the situation regarding the coronavirus, the recent natural disaster and related needs of the local population.
With the support of USAID and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), people living alone, aged 70 and older were provided with the food and hygiene parcels in Sagarejo Municipality.
We would like to remind you that the Georgia Red Cross Society has already distributed more than 100, 000 parcels of basic necessities throughout the country.
