The Georgia Red Cross Society is involved in the global online summit "ClimateRed", which deals with climate and environmental crisis.
 
Today, the session “Senior Leaders – Working together as a network to Adress the Climate and Environmental Crisis”, was chaired by the President of the Red Cross Society, Natia Loladze. During the summit, representatives of the national societies discussed their role in managing climate change in the country, as well as talked about the planning and implementation of future activities.
The meeting, attended by 8,000 people from 195 countries, is considered to be the largest meeting ever held on the climate and environmental crisis. The Prince of Wales, the Princess of the Netherlands and high-ranking government officials from various countries will take part in the summit. The event will feature more than 200 sessions chaired by the national societies and the partners.
