the Georgia Red Cross Society along with Akhmeta Municipality provided humanitarian aid for socially unprotected. The Red Cross in Georgia has been operating with unprecedented priority directions since 1918 where one of the main aims is taking care of health and welfare of socially unprotected. On 15th June, the President of GRCS - Natia Loladze visited Akhmeta Municipality. Together with the representatives of local authorities, the existing problems and challenges were discussed. Meeting with vulnerable groups was held and food packages were distributed to the socially unprotected population of the Akhmeta Municipality, including Pankisi Volunteers of the GRCS were actively involved in the event alongside with the representatives of the local authorities.
