The Georgian Red Cross annually celebrates World Tuberculosis Day to raise public awareness of the social and economic damage caused by tuberculosis.
In the current year, traditionally, various events were held across Georgia.
In particular, information sessions about tuberculosis were held in all 13 branches. Along with informational and educational activities, Georgian Red Cross employees and volunteers joined the STOP TB campaign "Yes, we can defeat tuberculosis", the goal of which is to increase public awareness about tuberculosis.
