Basic First Aid Training of Georgia Red Cross Society successfully underwent process of International Attestation (IFAA)

Georgia Red Cross Society has been conducting first aid training since 2005. The training program complies with both National and International standards. Since 2014, the basic first aid course has been certified by the Global First Aid Reference Center and is evaluated every 5 years. At the beginning of 2025, a representative of the Global First Aid Reference Center, Mr. Marcus Aust, visited Georgia Red Cross. The purpose of the visit was to assess the Georgia Red Cross Society's first aid training on-site. Based on the assessment, the Georgia Red Cross's Basic First aid training program was awarded IFAA (International First Aid Attestation) and received the right to place the logo on the issued certificate, as confirmation that the Basic First Aid training of the Georgian Red Cross Society complies with the international standards and the latest IFRC International First Aid, Resuscitation and Education Guidelines, updated every five years..
